Import data within Unity Editor

Once you are done importing your data with SkyPrep you can load it in the editor

To load a bundle created by Skyprep, you just need to launch : Assets / LoadAssetBundle then select your skt bundle in the file browser. Choose the Editor bundle : « <your_simulation>/Unity/Editor/ <your_simulation>.skt

It will load the scene from the scene bundle.

This will :

  • Create a folder prefab if it doesn’t exist in your project
  • Extract all the prefab corresponding to your CAD parts in this folder
  • Instantiate every object in the right place
  • Add a “SkityObject” to every part
